ASHDOWN, Ark.—Abbie Jean Leathers, 77, of Ben Lomond, Ark., died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Leathers was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Wallace, Ark. She was a member of Ben Lomond Assembly Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Leathers of Ben Lomond; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Alisa Leathers of Ben Lomond; one grandson, Casey Leathers of Ben Lomond; one sister, Jane Chamlee of Texarkana; and one aunt, Ester McKellar of Ben Lomond.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Madden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ben Lomond Cemetery.
