HOPE, Ark.—Darla M. Shumaker, 68, of Hope died Saturday, July 26, 2008, in Hope.

Ms. Shumaker was born Jan. 20, 1940, in Little Rock. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Leon and David Eugene Threet; one daughter, Marlene Rhodes; her mother, Margaret Steed; one sister, Alvita Margo Hobby; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Little Rock. Burial will be under direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
