Lorine Calhoun Wright, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, July 28, 2008, in a local hospital.

Ms. Wright was born June 11, 1919, in Jefferson, Texas. She was a member of Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Wayne Wright.

Survivors include three sons, Louis B. Wright of Milpitas, Calif., and Billy E. Wright and James F. Wright of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Lois L. Wright-Brookins of Fort Worth and Avice M. Wright-Davis of Texarkana; one brother, Willie J. Calhoun of Compton, Calif.; two sisters, Vida Phillips of Compton and Cleo Love of Mountain View, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church with Gilbert Williams officiating. Burial will be 9 a.m. Monday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under direction of Haynes Mortuary.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
