Henry Eugene Cerar, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Cerar was born July 11, 1924, in Carlinville, Ill. He was retired from the Army, a member of Masonic Lodge 1346 and Rose Hill Baptist Church and a World War II and Korean War veteran.

Survivors include one daughter, Lissa Martin of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; one son, Gene Cerar of Texarkana; three brothers, Paul Cerar of Springfield, Ill., Bernard Cerar of Monmouth, Ill., and George Cerar of Athens, Ill.; four sisters, Doris Staples and Barbara Kiel of Taylorville, Ill., Jun...
