WOLFE CITY, Texas—Wilma Stanline Powell Stanfield, 69, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Stanfield was born March 3, 1939, in Overton, Texas. She was a retired office worker and a member of Harvest International Ministries. She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Carrol Stanfield Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Stanfield; eight children, Deborah Carlile,Chad Carlile, Adam Carlile, Matthew Carlile and Collin Carlile of Texarkana and Pamel Wilcox, Erica Winkle and Daniel Richard; three sisters, June Parsons, Norita Smith and Gayle Thomas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Owens Funeral Home with Ray Smith officiating. Burial will be in Gober Cemetery, Gober, Texas.
