DOROTHA HUNTER

Dorotha Hunter, 84, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hunter was born May 15, 1924, in Haworth, Okla. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Downtown. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Hunter; and two sons, Noel Glynn and Doel Lynn Hunter.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Margo and Robert Sarayusa of Texarkana; two sisters, Betty Wortman of Fredricksburg, Texas, and Georgia Smith of Royce City, Texas; five grandchildren, Scott Sarayusa, Tracey Parker and Bobbi Taggert of Fort Worth, Texas, and Debbie Sarayusa and Gina Sarayusa of Texarkana; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clayton Sheets officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
