HOPE, Ark.—J.C. Walton, 81, of Hope died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, in Texarkana, Texas.

Mr. Walton was born Jan. 2, 1927, in Hempstead County, Ark. He was retired owner of Gordon Electric.

Survivors include his wife, Ravanell Walton; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Donna Walton of Hope; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tina and Tony Butler of DeKalb, Texas, and Connie Walton of Hope; four grandchildren, Lyle Butler, Amanda Jordan, Shawn Beasley and Brigit Newsom; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
