FOREMAN, Ark.—Paul Phillip Wise, 86, of Foreman died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, in Ashdown, Ark.

Mr. Wise was born May 13, 1922, in Arden, Ark. He was a member of American Legion and First Baptist Church and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Marie Wise.

Survivors include five sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Ritha Wise of Texarkana, Phil Wise and Clark Trim of Little Rock, John Paul Trim of Linden, Texas, and Steve Trim of Foreman; and three daughters and one son-in-law, Nancy Sue and George Coker of Texarkana, Deborah Jerigan of Shreveport, La., and Regina Pope of Sheridan, Ark.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Madden Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Ervin officiating. Burial will be in Dollarhide Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
