HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Alma Yvonne Clark, 70, of Cookville, Texas, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, in a Longview, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Clark was born Oct. 14, 1937, in Cherokee County, Okla. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by one son, Johnny James Clark; and one daughter, Rose Ann Clark.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Clark of Cookville; four sons, Gerald Wayne Clark of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Bobby Clark of Cookville and David Wayne Clark and Ray Lynn Clark of Gladewater, Texas; two daughters, Lollie Kemp of Ennis, Texas, and Brenda Anderson of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, Jim Jones and Gary Jones of Tahlequah, Okla.; four sisters, Ida Grissett, Ruth Ann Goods and Peggy Sue Vaughn of Tahlequah and Francis Weaver of Prescott, Ark.; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Barry Metz officiating. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
