Eunice Hawthorne Buckley, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008.

Mrs. Buckley was born July 7, 1928, in Columbus, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Missionary Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Buckley; and one grandson, Chad Buckley.

Survivors include one daughter, Sue Buckley of Texarkana; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Stanley and Becky Buckley of Little Rock, James Carl and Linda Buckley and Jackie Buckley of Texarkana and Gary and Cindy Buckley of White Hall, Ark.; one sister, Martha Stanley of Texarkana; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Bobby Joe Wright officiating. Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
