Kimberly Curt Akin, 36, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at her home.

Ms. Akin was born April 13, 1972, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Akin.
