Roger Dale Hinds Sr., 57, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Hinds was born Oct. 11, 1950, in Lewisville, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Hinds of Texarkana; two sons, Ricky Hinds of Lindale, Texas, and Dale Hinds Jr. of Jefferson, Texas; two daughters, Kim Holdford of Mabelvale, Ark., and Melissa Hinds of Texarkana; one sister, Dottie Franklin of Fouke, Ark.; three brothers, Wayne Hinds of Texarkana, Larry Hinds of Fouke and Doug Hinds of Jacksonville, Texas; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
