HOPE, Ark.—Olen Frierson “O.F.” Lloyd, 97, of Hope died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Lloyd was born March 23, 1911, in DeAnn, Ark. He was a retired jeweler and watch repairman, a member of Hope Veterans of Foreign Wars and Unity Baptist Church, Hope, and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Jettie Watkins Lloyd.

Survivors include his wife, Opal Somers Lloyd of Hope; two daughters and one son-in-law, Peggy Lloyd and John Moudy of Hope and Pat Somers of Galveston, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Leta and James Morrow ...
