PETE VIERS

Pete Viers, 74, of Maud, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Viers was born March 25, 1934, in Blackwell, Okla. He was a retired businessman, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge, Leadville, Colo., Fellowship Sunday School Class and First Baptist Church, Atlanta, and a Korean War Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Viers of Maud; one son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Juanita Viers of Mercedes, Texas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
