Betty Lew Krobot, 77, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Krobot was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Dierks, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Buchanan United Methodist Church, where she was former president of United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Leon Krobot.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Krobot of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Shelley Krobot of Texarkana; three sisters, Threada Woodall of Ashdown, Ark., Mary Frances LeFebvre of Repton, Ala., and Dora Faye Roy of Texark...
