George W. Piggee, 89, of Jacksonville, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, in a Little Rock hospital.

Mr. Piggee was born April 10, 1919, in Lockesburg, Ark. He was a laborer, a farmer, a carpenter, a member of Graves Chapel Baptist Church and a decorated veteran. He was preceded in death by three wives, Florence Wilson Piggee, Merta Maxwell Piggee and Murlee Hendrix-Piggee.
