Mary Ann Johnson, 48, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born Oct. 13, 1959. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Gerry Allen of Texarkana; four sons, Johnny Ray Johnson Sr., Maurice Johnson, Marcus Johnson and David Allen; four daughters, Ashley Henderson, Kristy Brown, Michele Brown and Angela Johnson of Texarkana; her parents, Halley Purifoy of Texarkana and Lester Johnson of Lewisville, Ark.; four brothers, William Johnson, Lester Johnson, Charles Johnson and Freddie John...
