STAMPS, Ark.—Ari Guthrie, 99, of Texarkana, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Guthrie was born Feb. 8, 1909, in Fouke, Ark. She was a retired school teacher, formerly employed with Beasley Music Co., and a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, Boston, Mass. She was preceded in death by one son, Hughl Guthrie; and two grandsons, John Guthrie and Alan Guthrie.
