NEW BOSTON, Texas—Hilton Allen Tidwell, 93, of Hooks, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Tidwell was born April 9, 1915, in Simms, Texas. He was retired from Tidwell Auto Supply, charter member of Masonic Lodge No. 1358 and a member of First Baptist Church, Hooks. He was preceded in death by one wife, Cora Lee Tidwell; and one grandson, Tracy Tidwell.
