STAMPS, Ark.—Willie James “Little Brother” Dempsey, 80, of Hope, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Dempsey was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Hope. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Hope.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby J. Dempsey; eight children, James Dempsey, Carlos Dempsey and Pamela Dempsey of Step, Ark., Todd Fanst of Phoenix, Ariz., Briant Brown of Texarkana, Tammy Sims of Falcon, Ark., Anthony Brown of Hope and Ammorion Dempsey; four sisters, Sarah Monk, Myrtle Lacefield, Betsy Garland and Joann Garland of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, E. ...
