Robert Vernon “Bob” Letterman, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Letterman was born Jan. 30, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo. He was retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co., a 32nd degree Mason, a Hella Temple Shriner, a deacon at First Presbyterian Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Eunice Faye Letterman.
