Edna Hurd, 88, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hurd was born Oct. 5, 1919, in Saratoga, Tex-as. She was a bank teller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Her-bert Hurd Sr.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Herbert and Wanda Hurd of Texarkana; one brother, Herman Cockerham of Dayton, Texas; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Tim and Brenda Hurd of Wake Village, Texas, and Brian Hurd of Tyler, Texas; one sister-in-law, Nell Henderson of Killeen, Texas; one nephew, Eddie Cockerham of Killeen; four great-grandchildren; and ...
