Edith Elizabeth Cook, 92, of Wake Village, Texas, formerly of Clarksville, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in a Texarkana nursing home.

Mrs. Cook was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Avery, Texas. She was a retired nurse’s aide and a member of Clarksville First Baptist Church and Knit and Needle club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Cook.
