Ruth Cornett Dumas, 89, of Genoa, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at her home.

Mrs. Dumas was born Dec. 19, 1918, in Atoka, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Genoa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge T. Dumas; and one great-grandson, Isaac Turner.
