LINDEN, Texas—Eddy Eugene Keesee, 45, of Linden died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, in an Atlanta, Texas hospital.

Mr. Keesee was born Aug. 1, 1963, in Marshall, Texas. He was a former state trooper, a helicopter pilot and an investigator for Texas Department of Public Safety.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Keesee of Linden; one brother, Todd Keesee of Austin; one sister, Kim Peel of Linden; three nieces, Keri Brock of Pharr, Texas, Brooke Price of Charleston, S.C., and Kelsey Peel of Linden; one nephew, Kade Keesee of Austin; and a number of other relatives.
