Geneva Thomas, 84, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Thomas was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Red Springs, Texas. She was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant, co-owner of Thomas Grocery and a member of First Baptist Church, Hooks.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Thomas of Hooks; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul Michael and Robin Thomas of Hooks; one grandson, Matthew Thomas of New Boston, Texas; two great-grandsons, Ryan Thomas and Kyle Thomas of Utah; and a number of other relatives.
