Carl C. Elliott, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Elliott was born Oct. 13, 1926, in Texarkana. He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Frances Hurd of Texarkana; and eight cousins, Willie Strickland of Oakland, Calif., Mary E. Porter of Los Angeles, Claudia B. Johnson of Atlanta, Texas, Earlene Mills-House of Mesquite, Texas, Dorothy Jackson and Ike Mills of Texarkana, Berma Runnels of Hooks, Texas, and James Mills of Davenport, Iowa.
