HOPE, Ark.—Michael Len Newton, 53, of Lewisville, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Newton was born Aug. 20, 1955, in Hope. He was a forestry technician, a member of First Baptist Church, Hope, and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Marla Smith Newton of Lewisville; two sons, Patrick Newton and Michael “Eli” Newton of Lewisville; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Mario Martinez of Lewisville; his mother, June Newton of Hope; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris and Priscilla Newton and Kenny and Donna Newton of Spring Hill, A...
