JJaoler Dixon Sr., 98, of Topeka, Kan., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at the home of his daughter.

Mr. Dixon was born July 22, 1910, in Caddo Parish, La. He was was a farmer, an oilfield worker, a former employee of Miller County Road Crew, secretary of UBA Society and secretary, deacon and member of Promise Land Baptist Church.

Survivors include four children, Naudean Austin of Topeka, Aveneal Cross of Aurora, Colo., Leola Dixon of Wake Village, Texas, and Jaoler Dixon Jr. of Texarkana; three sisters, Jettie Mae Banks of Bakersfield, Calif., Inez Brown of Oxnard, Calif...
