Eddie Young, 60, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Young was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Oakland, Calif., He was a retired wood mill plant worker, a member of Polly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member of Bus Driver Ministry Brotherhood, Tuesday Morning and Tuesday Evening Bible Class and Male Chorus, and an Army veteran.
