INGLEWOOD, Calif.—Mable King Irving Cleaver Wood, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.

Mrs. Wood was born March 13, 1925, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a former employee of Atlantic Life Insurance Co. and May Co., a former member of St. James AME Church and a member and church secretary of Ward AME Church, Los Angeles.
