Jessie Lynn Akin, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Akin was born March 9, 1924, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from the City of Texarkana Water Department. He was preceded in death by two wives, Quida Akin and Kitty Akin.
