De QUEEN, Ark.—Wesley Cassady, 83, of De Queen died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mr. Cassady was born March 30, 1925, in Nashville, Ark. He was retired from the City of De Queen, a member of Beacon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church and a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include four sons, John Cassady of Azle, Texas, Wesley J. Cassady Jr. and Stephen Paul Cassady of Springdale, Ark., and James Lee Cassady of De Queen; three daughters, Judy Burt of Lebanon, Tenn., and Joyce Dalton and Rose Birdsong of De Queen; one brother, Joe Cassady of Pine Blu...
