PRESCOTT, Ark.—Carroll David Morehead, 86, of Prescott died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, in a local nursing facility.

Mr. Morehead was born Jan. 18, 1922. He was retired owner of Waterloo Grocery Store, Waterloo, Ark., and Carroll’s Grocery and Market, Prescott, a Prescott/Nevada County veterans service officer, a member of Prescott Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and First United Methodist Church, Prescott, and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Morehead, in 2005.
