ATLANTA, Texas—Floyd Blalock, 93, of Queen City, Texas, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, in Atlanta.

Mr. Blalock was born July 15, 1915, in Cass County, Texas. He was a self-employed carpenter, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Blalock; and one son, Ward Blalock.
