Carolyn Veryle Wright, 62, of Maud, Texas, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Wright was born Sept. 5, 1945, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of Texarkana, Ark., Women’s Bowling Associ-ation and Faith Community Baptist Church, Maud. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wright Sr.; and one son, James Wright Jr.
