NEW BOSTON, Texas—J.E. Kennedy, 77, of New Boston died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008.

Mr. Kennedy was born June 28, 1931, in DeKalb, Texas. He was retired from the Army and a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Marie Kennedy.

Survivors include one son, Kerry Kennedy of San Antonio; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Toby Paris of San Antonio; one brother, James Whitecotton of DeKalb; one grandson, Bo Tyler Paris of San Antonio; and a number of other relatives.
