Lynn Cooksey, 69, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008.

Mr. Cooksey was born April 22, 1939, in Houston. He was a retired lawyer, former Bowie County District Attorney, charter member of Northridge Country Club and a member of Texarkana Bar Association, Northeast Texas Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and First Baptist Church, Hooks, Texas.
