CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Sabona Belle Ham Howland, 104, formerly of Clarksville, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, in Bryan, Texas.

Mrs. Howland was born Sept. 20, 1903, in Uz, Texas. She was a member of McKenzie Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence V. Howland; and one son, C.V. Howland Jr.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueleen and Forrest Gamble Jr. of College Station, Texas, and Joan and Ronald Barnett of Costa Mesa, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
