NAPLES, Texas—William Clifford Hatfield Sr., 88, of Omaha, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, in Bonham, Texas.

Mr. Hatfield was born May 7, 1920, in Pittsburg, Texas. He was the retired owner and operator of a service station in Wylie, Texas, member of Oakridge Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darma Jean Hatfield; one daughter, Kathy Ford; and one grandson, Randy Hatfield.
