Thomas Eugene Longan, 45, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, in Texarkana.

Mr. Longan was born May 2, 1963, in Texarkana, Texas. He was a member of South Texarkana Baptist Church and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Longan of Texarkana; two daughters, Joyce Longan of Texarkana and Susan Longan of Rochester, N.Y.; three stepsons, Johnny Crawford, Kerry Moorehead and Robert Barker of Texarkana; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Barker of Texarkana and Meta Moore of Rochester; his father, James A.
