HOPE, Ark.—Betty Mathis, 76, of Hope died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Mathis was born May 20, 1932, in Willisville, Ark. She was preceded in death by one son, James Beasley; and two grandsons.

Survivors include one daughter, Buny Williams of Texarkana, Ark.; eight sons, Lee Beasley of Hot Springs, Ark., Gary Beasley of Nashville, Ark., Henry Beasley of Prescott, Ark., Earnest Beasley of Hope, Roy Beasley and Calvin Beasley of Stamps, Ark., Johnny Beasley of Batesville, Ark., and Jackie Beasley of Siloam Springs, Ark.; ...
