OPHELIA THOMPSON

PRESCOTT, Ark.—Ophelia Thompson, 96, of Irving, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Irving.

Miss Thompson was born Aug. 10, 1912, in Emmett, Ark. She was a retired marketer, a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Samuel King Chapter and Central Baptist Church, Prescott.

Survivors include a special niece and nephew-in-law, Alice and Wayne Weatherby; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Central Baptist Church. Burial will be in Snell Cemetery, Emmett under direction of Pharr Funeral Home. ...
