ATLANTA, Texas—Chess Taylor Major, 93, of El Paso, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Major was born June 24, 1915, in Brock, Texas. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Fredrick Major.
