Uray Capps, 78, of Maud, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Capps was born Nov. 2, 1929, in Union Valley, Okla. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Redwater Church of Christ and a veteran of the Army Corps of Engineers.
