Lonnie Delbert Maxwell, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Maxwell was born June 27, 1919, in Bivens, La. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church and a World War II Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Maxwell of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Bobbie Maxwell of Spring, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Tommy Sherman of Nash, Texas, and Donna and Chad Carr of Texarkana; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchil...
