NEW BOSTON, Texas—Thelma Beatrice Matthew, 71, of New Boston died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital.

Mrs. Matthew was born Sept. 6, 1937, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was a retired registered nurse and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grove Willis Matthew.

Survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, Grover Eugene and Martha Matthew, Grover William and Tammie Matthew and Patrick Dwayne and Deborah Matthew of New Boston and Larry Dale Matthew of Queen City, Texas; and a number of other relatives.
