C.G. MOREHEAD

C.G. Morehead, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Morehead was born Jan. 9, 1921, in Winthrop, Ark. He was a Mason, a member of Franklin Drive Church of Christ and a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one wife, Ruth Morehead.

Survivors include his wife, Vera Morehead of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles and Susan Morehead of Texarkana and Johnny Morehead; one daughter, Joyce Thedford of Texarkana; one brother, Palmer Morehead of Shreveport, La.; two stepchildren,...
