JOHN RIND

BROKEN BOW, Okla.—John “Coach” Rind, 75, of Idabel, Okla., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

Mr. Rind was born Nov. 4, 1932, in Pickens, Okla. He was a former basketball coach at Battiest, Okla., school system, a member of Silver Creek Church of Christ and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Rind.

Survivors include one son, Garry Rind; one daughter, Sharon Davis; one sister, Arvella Welch of Hot Springs, Ark.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
