ATLANTA, Texas—Andrew Epps, 77, of Atlanta died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, in a local hospital.

Mr. Epps was born July 22, 1931, in Linden, Texas. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Linden.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Epps; six sons, Charlie Epps, Andrew B. Epps, James Raymond Smith, Jimmy Stiger, Arthur Chandler and Jerry Chandler; eight daughters, Mary Spearmon, Doris Epps Carroll, Annie Traylor, Sharon Epps, Margaret Epps, Alice Mae Smith, Carolyn Cook and Yvette Berrian; one sister, Ruth Thompson; 36 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a number...
